The Atlantic coast of Cornwall and Devon is
far too wild and rugged to have been overdeveloped and commercialised.
The boats still go out from the small fishing villages, artists
still come here to paint and write poetry, there are still secluded
coves where you can be alone for hours. The National Trust owns
much of the coastline and helps preserve its magical nature.
The South West Coast Path provides access to every inch of this
spectacular coast and in places you can still see the remains
of some of the thousands of ships that have been wrecked here. |

History is visible all around and walking down
the narrow lanes of Port Isaac to the sea you could believe
you were in a time warp. Tintagel is a mystical place and whatever
truth there is in the legend of King Arthur is to be found here.
We will show you the pub which was the real Jamaica Inn. Smuggling
still goes on today, though the cargoes have changed. The improbable
natural harbour of Boscastle is home to the witchcraft museum
while above the village is a medieval field system still in
